I’ve been writing my whole life. At my young age, I have already gained experience as:
-An intern at Memphis Parent Magazine where I conducted interviews, wrote blog posts, navigated Metro Publisher, adhered to strict deadlines, pitched ideas, created headlines, managed the Memphis Parent website, edited blog posts, and educated the public about events.
-The editor of The Magician, LeMoyne-Owen College’s newspaper, where I wrote print assignments, adhered to strict deadlines, managed the online website, wrote blog posts, took photographs, edited photographs, traveled for stories, arranged the layout of the newspaper, met deadlines, and educated the college campus about events for four years.
-A skilled writer of The Commercial Appeal’s Teen Appeal staff, where I organized emails, adhered to strict deadlines, learned AP style, proofread print assignments, and assisted in research and verifying facts.
